To minimize, and in some cases eliminate, drug and alcohol withdrawal symptoms, a personalized detox protocol is designed for each patient. Over half of the patients we admit into our drug and alcohol treatments have an accompanying psychiatric disorder. We refer to that as a dual diagnosis. After consulting with the medical director and your primary therapist, the psychiatrist will develop a psychiatric treatment plan for you that functions concurrently with your drug and alcohol treatments.
