Travel Arrangements to Our Alcohol Treatment Center

Freedom Rings, Lakeview's drug rehab for the gay and lesbian community, admits patients to our alcohol treatment center from every area of the country. During these times, coordinating travel can become a very stressful and challenging issue. Whether traveling by air, bus or driving on your own, if you require our assistance in arranging travel, please alert our admissions staff as to your needs and they will be happy to assist you. Due to the frequency with which we assist patients to arrange travel, we generally have access to some of the better air fares.

Travel by Air to Our Alcohol Rehab

Many of the patients that attend our drug and alcohol rehab fly into the Jacksonville International Airport. Upon arrival you can expect to meet someone affiliated with our rehab to help with your luggage and escort you directly to the alcohol treatment facility. Upon arrival to our center you will be able to call who ever you need to and let then know you have arrived safely. If by chance you have forgotten something, arrangements will be made to take care of it after you have gotten settled.

Driving Your Car to Drug and Alcohol Rehab

While there is ample parking at our alcohol treatment facility, we encourage you to have someone drive you to alcohol rehab. We do not take responsibility for your automobile while it is here and we will ask you to turn over your keys until discharge, so they are not lost or stolen. Lastly, we want you to understand that if you elect to leave your car parked at our alcohol treatment center, we will need to search your car for any contraband. This would only be done with your permission and with you present. It is for your protection, as well as, everyone else.

Travel and Discharge from the Alcohol Treatment Program

Discharge planning is a process that is ongoing from the time you are admitted to alcohol rehab. The closer are to discharge, the more concrete arrangements need to become. When an actual date and location is set, we will work together to formulate travel for you. Every patient is assigned a case manager who will coordinate every aspect of your discharge from our alcohol treatment program. Whether you drove to rehab, flew or took a bus, we will coordinate an effortless discharge for you.
